Meet
Dr. Steve L. Koo
Dr. Steve L. Koo was born and raised in Houston, Texas after his parents emigrated from South Korea. After attending
The University of Texas, Dr. Koo graduated (with honors) with a degree in
Chemical Engineering. He then attended Texas A & M University and
obtained a Master’s in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Koo then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1999 from
the University of Texas Health Science Center.
He went on to pursue a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Houston dental program. Dr. Steve Koo graduated in
2007 and joined Dr. Thomas Weil as a
partner to form Piney Point Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
